Pickin’ For Memory Bluegrass Festival

Pickin’ For Memory is in it’s third year now at Sparta Campground in Sparta Kentucky. Sparta is located in Gallatin County approximately 65 miles north fron Louisville, 45 miles west from Lexington and 35 miles south of Cincinnati. Sparta is home to the Kentucky Speedway and the Spart campground is located 3.3 miles from the Kentucky Speedway at exit 57 off of I-71.  When exiting I-71, turn south on Rt.35 for 1.5 miles or to the stop sign.  Turn right and go 1.7 miles and campground is on the right.

 

For those who are in motor homes or travel trailers, we offer large flat camp sites with 30 amp electrical hook ups, bath/shower house and dump station. For primitive camping, there is approximately 10 acres of grasslands and woods. The bath/shower house are available for use.

 

The concert area is mostly shaded and offers a 40 x 60 tent for additional protection from the sun and rain if necessary. The concert area can seat up to 2000 spectators comfortably. Please visit the Sparta Campground Website for additional information.
